Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry in all their glory.
Alice Cooper, Johnny Depp, and Joe Perry walk into a bar. This sounds like the setup for an awful joke, but these three will probably do exactly that at some point during the tour for their brand new supergroup, called Hollywood Vampires.

If you tuned in to this past year's Grammy Awards, you would have seen the band make their debut in performing a tribute to the late Lemmy. After working on some of their own material, the band has decided to set out on an 18-date North American tour.
We know, Johnny. We're excited, too.

Alice Cooper and Aerosmith's Joe Perry did an interview with Rolling Stone and told the magazine that they are just trying to have fun with the band and tour. Perry went on to talk about how it's been a dream o play with the group and make good ole rock n' roll.

Perry and Depp will take on guitar duties with Cooper on vocals. Supporting the core members are Matt Sorum (the Cult, Guns N' Roses), guitarist Tommy Henrikson (Alice Cooper's band), Bruce Witkin (Johnny Depp's band the Kids), and bassist Robert DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots).

Hollywood Vampires will be making two stops in Michigan during this tour. On July 13th, they will be hitting up Soaring Eagle Casino in Mt. Pleasant and on July 16th they will be at DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston.

You can purchase tickets for the Mt. Pleasant show here (PS: Cheap Trick is opening for them). Tickets are not on sale for the DTE show, yet.
