Power of the Press Fest

Power of the Press Fest, presented by Signal-Return, is a celebration of traditional printing, visual and literary arts taking place in Detroit April 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Events will take place throughout the city, such as poetry readings, lectures, exhibitions, and workshops. On Sunday, Shed 5 of Eastern Market will be the site of a FREE, family friendly festival, with vendors, artist demonstrations and literary events. Artist/vendors will have a wide-variety of handmade books, prints, zines, and objects for sale. Come participate in free demos and learn about the art of paper making and marbling, letterpress and silkscreen printing, carving, binding, and more!
