Was saddened to read of the death of Lee Hazelwood in Las Vegas last weekend. The man who discovered and produced Duane Eddy and basically gave Nancy Sinatra a career had been ill with cancer for some time, and the writing was on the wall. Still, it was sad to hear. Some people may not know who he was, but everyone knows this song, which he wrote and produced.

np: “Some Velvet Morning.”
