This doesn't excite me nearly as much...but Scorsese is often great, one of the best. He understands vintage rock 'n' roll as well as any director...and has put a ton of money in the Stones' pockets via years of soundtracks (though he never bettered the use of "Tell Me" in Mean Streets). The band still sounds great live...at least I'm told. Haven't bothered since 1998. But I'd have more antcipation if it was a No Direction Home kinda documentary. Give me Flowers or "2000 Light Years From Home" any day of the week...
