Joe Cocker is opening for the Steve Miller Band (always a great show, no matter what your age) at Pine Knob (still refuse to call it DTE) tomorrow night. The only reason we mention this is that after all these years, someone posting on youtube has finally come to our rescue and deciphered exactly what the fuck it is Joe has been singing, just in case he does his cover of the Fabs’ “With a Little Help From My Friends” tomorrow night. This one has been making the rounds this week; my pals Kent Benjamin and Art Fein both sent it to me this week, and I got it in an e-mail from Willy Wilson earlier today. Check it out. If it doesn’t make you laugh, then you’re surely already dead
