It's always interesting to see the ways that Ann Arbor's one-time powerful Athletic Mic League continue to grow as individuals. They've essentially all gone solo or found new creative endeavors but are still winning with most moves. The group's lead producer, 14 KT, who's actually from Ypsilanti, has made a strong name for himself in recent years getting placement on The Detroit Experiment, winning the Red Bull Big Tune Beat Battle in 2009, and staying on the radar of national artists.
He just put out a visual compliment to his song "The Inside" off his album, The Golden Hour, which dropped in 2008. Why it took him so long put a video out, I don't now, but we're psyched he did. This is a quasi -instrumental track with additional vocals from Tiffany Paige. Check it out.
