Here's the brand new music video from hip-hop group Crown Royale for their debut single "We Gotcha." Comprised of Atheltic Mic League vet Buff 1 and DJ Rhettmatic of the World Famous Beat Junkies, Crown Royale started making music together a little over a year ago at the suggestion of Mayer Hawthorne and his manager, former Funktelligence frontman Jackson Perry. As a duo, they've got a simple yet effective throwback hip-hop style with one emcee and one DJ, a setup that cuts out all of the rah rah and puts the emphasis right where it's supposed to be: on the music.

The video was directed by Detroiter Jeremy Deputat and filmed in Venice Beach, Calif. where you'll not only see the old Fat Beats LA (RIP) while it was still up and running but some legitimate chemistry between Rhettmatic and Buff1 as artists that has me really looking forward to their full-length album. That self-titled LP hits the web December 7th and the physical copies are in stores December 11th via A-Side Worldwide.
