Here's a vid for the song "Can't Stand it" from Detroit based rapper Mr. Chief featuring fellow Detroit emcee Guilty Simpson and Miami-based wordsmith Wrekonize. The video was shot by Wayne State grad Adam E. Pillon and was filmed in a wooded area of Southfield and at the American Pawnshop on 8 Mile and Greenfield. You might notice Guilty Simpson throw a lyrical shoutout to Miami hip-hop crew Art Official at the beginning of his verse before he buries a microphone only to have Mr. Chief unearth it and Wrekonize eventually steal it. You'll have to watch the video to grasp everything but this is definitely a good look for the whole crew.
This is the first single off of Mr. Chief's upcoming album, Assuming Power, dropping in early 2011.
