WHFR, the non-commercial, non-profit, volunteer-run station, will be hosting a record show on Saturday, October 6th, on the main campus of Henry Ford Community College from 10am-4pm (early admission 9am).
They say, “There is a sliding scale of $1-$5 (whatever you can afford) admission fee, which is actually a donation to our non-profit radio station. For each dollar donated, participants get a ticket to the several cash door prizes we have throughout the day."
All proceeds go directly to WHFR, which helps us continue to broadcast independent, LOCAL music over the air and worldwide on the web. You can find out more at the WHFR website.
As a little extra incentive, Metro Times readers can print out this blog for one extra free raffle ticket, with paid admission to the show.Follow @City_Slang
