Detroit radio station WYCD-FM has been named country station of the year at the 2012 National Association of Broadcasters' Marconi Radio Awards.
According to a statement, “the prestigious awards recognize radio's outstanding personalities and stations. Marconi finalists were selected by a task force of broadcasters, and the winners were voted on by the NAB Marconi Radio Awards Selection Academy. The votes were tabulated by an independent firm.”
That’s a hell of an achievement, and we would like to congratulate the station on the win.Follow @City_Slang
