Detroit’s folk/soul/R&B artist Charity Ward will perform at Jazzin’ On Jefferson on the Main Stage, Saturday, June 15 at 2.15 p.m.
Other artists scheduled to appear over the weekend include Chris Canas, Stacie Sandoval, Sheila Landis, Thornetta Davis, the 313 Live Experience, Nadir, and many, many more.
According to a statement, the event is, “very much a weekend that takes the neighborhood's history and demographics into account. JOJ can sometime feel more like a humungous family reunion than a music festival. Replete with all sorts of jazz (from Smooth to Big Band), a Gospel review and line dancing, JOJ, there's a real appeal to seeing the lower east side congregate.”Follow @City_Slang
