All girl rockers Betty Cooper play Smalls on June 28, and the show will be a farewell gig for front woman and song writer Annette Barbara.
Barbara is leaving Detroit for San Diego after falling in love and, while the band isn’t necessarily splitting up, they will be on hiatus for a while.
Betty Cooper will release it’s long-awaited album Guts on Bellyache Records around the time of the show.
The Beggars and the Walking Beat also play on the night, and the action starts at 10 p.m. (doors at 8 p.m.). The $10 cover includes a copy of the LP. Sweet deal.Follow @City_Slang
