It's been four years since Milford-based shoegazin' goths 800beloved released their last record, Everything Purple, but that didn't stop frontman Sean Lynch and his gang from braving the Great Polar Vortex of 2014 for the opportunity to shoot a video for the album's "Tidal." In the video, released today, 800beloved muse Santa Anna (that's her in the coffin on the band's debut LP) explores a frozen Empire, Michigan (the scene on the cover of the sophomore album) — thus linking the two album covers.
800beloved are currently wrapping up recording on their third LP. On his Facebook page, Lynch described the sound of the new record as "intentionally anti-thematic loitering through late summer suburbia ... more tangible and ultra lo-fi."
