Tonight in Ypsi: Malcolm Tent, Sirens @ Cafe Ollie

Two compelling solo artists from the East Coast invade Cafe Ollie in Ypsi tonight.

Cult figure Malcolm Tent is a folk punk solo artist whose sardonic songs are hilarious and fun as hell. Mr. Tent also rocks heavy noise damaged jams in Ultrabunny and once led the band Broken Talent in South Florida. He's had a record label called TPOS since the early 1980s, was an original 'zinester, had a great record and thrift shop in CT called Trash American Style, and is an all around awesome guy.

Performing with him is the super talented Sirens, who does her own, exceptional take on the looped and layered a capella thing. Her live show promises to be mesmerizing.
