Patti Smith plans Ann Arbor stop on book tour



Punk icon Patti Smith will make a stop at Ann Arbor's Michigan Theater on Oct. 12 as part of a promotional tour for her forthcoming book M Train, the sequel to her award-winning memoir Just Kids, Pitchfork reports

M Train is out Oct. 6 via Knopf. Additionally, HarperCollins will release an updated edition of Smith's previously released Patti Smith Collected Lyrics to commemorate the 40th anniversary of her classic album, Horses. That book is due Oct. 27.
