As we wrote this week
, Ryan Dillaha and the Miracle Men play a record release show for their new album Miracles in Mono at the Loving Touch, 22634 Woodward Ave., Ferndale, this Saturday, Aug. 8 before embarking on a national tour. Doors open at 8 p.m. The release party features features the Scrappers and Woven Tangles as well.

Dillaha is clearly a man who enjoys puns as much as he does sweet and rootsy rock music. "It's called Miracles in Mono because we recorded it in a converted horse barn studio in Mono, Ontario," he wrote via email. "Plus, I like when people ask me if we recorded in mono, and I can say, 'Yes, but it's in stereo.' It was mastered by Jim Diamond at Ghetto Recorders."
This video shot at PJ's Lager House is pretty sweet.
