Get your week set up just right with "Motor City Funk" by the Brightlights

Suggestive, slinky, and very fun, this 45 on the Nashville-based Silver Fox label has been a dance floor filler at area dances and soul nights since it was first released in 1969.
Who the heck is the drummer on this thing? This drummer is amazing. No wonder DJ Shadow sampled this.
The record was produced by noted writer/arranger Walter Whisenhunt, whose own releases are in high demand among collectors.
