We just got an email from the folks at NPR which informs us that "NPR Music’s 2016 Tiny Desk Contest is officially closed! We’re now reviewing submissions as we prepare to reveal this year’s winner in early March. Over 6,100 acts submitted an entry this year—that’s a lot of talent to sift through."

They then sent along a list of "the entries from your local area and state." And here they are, the seven Michigander contenders, along with the videos they each submitted as part of the submission process. Which of them should win? Any of them? Our vote goes to OneFreq! All the way to OneFreq, though there are a few other solid contenders of course.

Holly Bernt, "Rest Assured"

ONEFREQ, "Drug of Choice"

Erik Alan, "Five Dollars A Day"

Meaghan, "Play for Me"

LOJOY, "Money Money Money"

Sigrid Christiansen, "Akin to the Cat"

Craig Alan Carrico, "Hey There Little Lady"
