A gaggle of some of the most avant-garde names in art are bringing their multimedia hypnotic realms to life for a special engagement. Los Angeles-based artist (and former Detroit resident) Suzy Poling is joined by Detroit artists Nicola Kuperus, Jimbo Easter, and Forest Juziuk to deliver an out-of-this-world exhibition that explores gender shapeshifting, bewilderment via sculptural constructions, projections, costumes, and performance art.

The performance runs Saturday, November 25 at 3 p.m.; 4454 Woodward Ave. Detroit; 313-832-6622; mocadetroit.org; Admission is free.
