Today is the first day of spring, yet it remains a bitter 30 degrees Fahrenheit and we're all left to wonder if summer will ever actually arrive.

Well, this sunny morning we have received a special transmission stating that '80s music icons Boy George and Culture Club (along with The B-52s and the Thompson Twins' Tom Bailey) are headed to DTE Energy Music Theatre this August as part of a world tour. That must mean warmer weather is on the way because if "Karma Chameleon" isn't a summer banger we don't know what is.

Anyway, their stop at DTE is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 30 and it starts at 7 p.m., which is good news for all of us who like to be in bed before 10:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 23 at 10 a.m. Lawn seats are $20, and four-packs are $80. Pavilion seats are $39.50, $69.50 and $99.50. Tickets can be purchased at 313presents.com, LiveNation.com, TicketMaster.com, or the Little Caesars Arena box office.
