You can finally stream that Danny Brown documentary squashed by Apple

  • Doug Coombe
Danny Brown is having a pretty good week.

Following the details of his fifth annual hometown blowout, Bruiser Thanksgiving to benefit a Detroit youth arts program InsideOut, Brown now finally has his hands on the rights to that shelved Apple Music documentary that was promised last year.

Now available for download and streaming via Brown's official website, Live at the Majestic chronicles Brown's pre-show preparation as well as concert footage, fan commentary, and intimate insight as to how he became one to watch.

The Andrew Cohn-directed documentary premiered in 2016 at the House of Vans in Brooklyn, New York. Days following the expected Nov. 7 release date, Brown took to Twitter to explain that Apple had scrapped plans to distribute it, saying "he was really hurt about the whole situation."

Live at the Majestic is available to stream for $2.99 here. Watch the trailer below.
