One of the most beloved garage bands in all of Detroit history, the Invisibles have been around since 1981. They merged badass atomic sounds of the ’50s, ’60s, and ’70s. The group had so much energy back in the day that they’d create their own subgenre bands to open up for themselves — the Volcanos, Screamin’ Savage and the Cave Men, the Kaos Killers, Hellbenders, and the Meltdowns among them. The Invisibles might not play too often these days, but they’ll still rule, and odds are good you’ll hear “Dig Up Bela Legosi,” just because.
