Upcoming Devil’s Night Movie
Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly are slated to appear in an upcoming comedy called Devil’s Night due in 2014, in which the two play former duo of pranksters who have to reunite in order to save their old neighborhood when Devil’s Night mischief gets out of control. The script was written by Andrew Mogul and Jarrad Paul, who previously wrote the script for the Jim Carrey comedy Yes Man.

Devil’s Night factored heavily into the story of the 1994 film The Crow; the titular character is born when he comes back from the grave after he and his fiance are slain during the crime spree on 5 images of Devil’s Night in pop culture Devil’s Night. Villain Top Dollar reveals he started the Devil’s Night tradition, and in the movie’s world the practice has become so popular that there are even Devil’s Night greeting cards.

A 1990 non-fiction book by Pontiac-born Zev Chafets, the book came back from the dead after Rush Limbaugh plugged it on his show this summer while discussing Detroit’s bankruptcy.
D12’s Devil’s Night
Released in 2001, hip hop collective D12’s debut was named Devil’s Night. Executively produced by Eminem, it was the first record released on his Shady Records label. Eminem’s movie 8 Mile , released the following year, features a scene where the characters set a house on fire.
