Ethnic culture and entertainment are the name of the game at the 32nd installment of the African World Festival, held on the grounds of the Charles H. Wright Museum. Guests will experience great music from acts like Cody Chestnutt, the Clark Sisters, Wunmi and Kiki Sheard. There will be a special ceremony to acknowledge and celebrate ancestors still living and those who have passed. There will be a fashion show by Detroit Rocks, along with a presentation of traditional Moroccan wedding style. An international marketplace along with an African folklife village are also part of the festival's attractions.
