Design professionals are a fun bunch.

Doodlebugs — It turns out design professionals are a fun bunch. Why do we say that? Because there’s a monthly event hosted by the Detroit chapter of the professional association for design, the 100-year-old AIGA. Sound fusty? It’s not. It’s called “Drink & Draw,” a monthly post-work event to socialize, unwind from the day, and doodle. It happens every third Tuesday, and runs 6-8 p.m. this month, falling on Tuesday, May 20, at Woodbridge Pub, 5169 Trumbull St., Detroit; 313-833-2701
