All Dolled Up: Meet Ypsilanti's Alex Tinsley

Alex Tinsley resides in Ypsilanti, where she maintains her fair complexion by working on patterns for her knitting website and, less frequently, writing for her fashion and lifestyle blog, Tinsley says she dabbles in the dark arts — fortune telling, tarot cards, crystals, and the like — although she confesses that she "doesn't actually believe a whiff of it." Of her style, she cites Marceline the Vampire Queen as her fashion icon, and adds "it's midnight somewhere."
