All Dolled Up

Weekly Detroit street fashion.

Ashley Goe was enjoying some live music and soaking up the afternoon sun with her friend when we met her at Campus Martius. Her vibrant, high-waisted, pink American Apparel pants immediately intrigued us, but her bright smile, chic sunglasses, and sleek, pulled-up hair really set her apart from the crowd. Goe’s sophisticated-casual look would transition nicely from the office to happy hour. Her black slip-ons with gold embroidery were a steal from T.J. Maxx and a perfect pair to her wildly patterned sweater from Pitaya. We loved Goe’s easygoing style, which suited her disposition well. Remember fashion rule 1: If you’re comfortable in your clothes, it’ll show. Way to Goe!

Sweater — Pitaya … $22

Tank-top — American Apparel … $20

Pants — American Apparel … $70
