According to the American Polish Festival’s website, Poles are the largest ethnic minority group in Michigan, so celebrating polka and pierogis is really important. This festival will have both of those things, as well as live local music, folk dancing, and a pierogi-eating competition. An outdoor craft fair will feature over 50 local artists, and there will also be an opportunity to drink, a touchstone of Polish culture. A traditional Polish mass will be held at noon on Sunday, as well.
