For more than 90 years, Detroit has hosted America’s Thanksgiving Parade. Each year, as thousands line Woodward Avenue, the Parade Company finds new ways to raise the bar. Larger than life balloons float from Kirby Street to Congress Street alongside hand-crafted floats, marching bands, and a slew of surprises leading up to the arrival of the one and only Santa Claus. To amp things up this year, Detroit superstar Big Sean teams up with beloved former WDIV news anchor Carmen Harlan to preside as the parade’s Grand Marshals.
Parade begins its procession at 8:50 a.m at the Intersection of Kirby and Woodward
