Belle Isle Harvest Festival

When: Sat., Oct. 29, 11 a.m. 2016

A truckload of fun is in store for Detroiters who can make their way to Belle Isle’s White House lawn for the activities in store. There will be face painting, hayrides, a bounce house, a bonfire with a marshmallow roast, candy, popcorn, hot apple cider, doughnuts, and the chance for kids to meet Smokey the Bear. The Detroit Institute of Arts will also have a mobile exhibit set up that you’re going to want to check out. There’s no better way to get into the autumnal spirit than to stop by. Festival starts at 11 a.m.; 2 Inselruhe Ave., Detroit; facebook.com/MiBelleIsle.
