It's been three years since Wurst Bar opened in Ypsi with the quirky goal of providing a literal "sausagefest." But these aren't your uncle's brats; expect vegetarian hot seitan, spicy rattlesnake chorizo, alligator and crawfish budin, cheddar summer sausage, and bison and lamb merguez, as well as a host of craft beers to wash them down with. The restaurant also hosts Ypsilanti's most unusual annual fundraiser, the Wurst Challenge, which dares contestants to consume "20 feet of meat" for a good cause.
