Black Lotus, which commands the corner of 14 Mile Road and Main Street, boasts an airy high-ceilinged space, dominated by a horseshoe-shaped fieldstone bar. The comfy, eclectic vibe is enhanced on Tuesdays, when the world music of Zap Toro takes over the stage, cheered on by a crowd of regulars. They have such popular beers on tap as their Black Bottom Nitro Stout, and their kitchen has really turned it around in the last few years, offering not just burgers, sandwiches, appetizers and soups, but vegetarian choices as well. And the outdoor options don’t hurt either.
