The Seraphine Collective bills itself an "inclusive, supportive, and active community of female-identified musicians and artists designed to foster creative expression and camaraderie among feminists in Detroit." And that's all a very good thing, of course. But is the music any good? Judging by their first half-dozen events, the answer is a resounding "hell yes." They currently host shows the last Thursday of every month at PJ's Lager House, but check their own site to make sure those are continuing, and to see what other events they have going on.
