Much to our chagrin, they’re still not on the regular menu, but try stopping by recently opened breakfast and lunch spot Coco Fairfield’s on a Sunday for the best crab cakes Benedict you’ve ever eaten or are likely to eat. These rival the best we’ve had in any fine dining restaurant, with large chunks of crabmeat and little filler. The creamy, rich hollandaise sauce is the decadent icing on the proverbial cake, and is mellow enough to let the flavor of the crab shine. If they’re out of the crab cakes, order another of chef Marty Miller’s creative specials, like a savory waffle with roasted vegetables.
