You want to talk in hushed tones in Kresge Court, as if you were picnicking in a cathedral. Vaulted skylight, faded old brick walls and Gothic stained-glass windows: not only can you drink in the beauty with your eyes and soul here, but you can drink, and eat, literally. A perfect day is to take in the eye candy throughout the DIA till your feet are sore, then nosh and refresh in the court. The food is exalted too: fancy sliders, cheese and charcuterie boards, piled-high sandwiches and desserts, three varieties of mimosa, cocktails with Champagne. No starving artists here.
