When: Sat., Nov. 11, 8 p.m. 2017
These Portland, Oreg.-based indie rockers have been at this game for 17 years, and during their career they’ve managed to stay true and expand on their alt-country reputation. 2017 finds Blitzen Trapper on the heels of their ninth studio record Wild and Reckless, which upon first listen feels like something the late Tom Petty would jam to. With hints of Springsteen’s Nebraska and a sprinkling of Black Keys-worthy funk, it seems as if Blitzen Trapper has finally found themselves — and we’re totally here for it.
