That’s not a typo. The Root’s Blues Feast is aptly named, given it features southern influenced music and cuisine. Chef Nick Rodgers will craft a four course (plus cornbread with honey butter and pickles and a pecan pie dessert) that includes pimento pub cheese with pretzels, grilled chicken wings, creamy cucumber salad, and Cajun meatloaf with Brussels sprouts and whipped potatoes with jalapeno red eye gravy. Chicago’s The Corey Dennison Band will provide live blues music to complement the food.
