There’s no business like cannabusiness? Since 2008, Michigan has been among the ranks of states with medical marijuana programs. But running a weed business is a lot more complicated than bong-rips and spreadsheets. Enter “Strategies for a Successful Cannabuisness and Winning Facilities License Application,” which is hosted by two of the most powerful, full-service cannabis law firms in the country. Attendees will learn how to write municipal and state license applications and will be guided through the process of drafting business and operational plans to calculating realistic financial projections. Munchies are included in the price of the ticket.

The Cannabuisness event will take place at Cobo Center on Friday, Dec. 8; 1 Washington Blvd., Detroit; cannabislegalgroup.com; event begins at 8 a.m.; tickets are $299.
