Born in Duluth, Minn., Charlie Parr is the country blues artist behind tunes like “1922.” In fact, that classic Parr ditty was featured in an Australian TV commercial, which led to an entire album re-release for the musician. Actually, the Australians quite like Parr and his stylings. A couple of his tunes were also featured in a 2010 film called Red Hill. Parr, accompanied by a resonator guitar, a fretless open-back banjo, and a 12-string guitar for sure, will perform inside Ann Arbor’s intimate folk rock venue.
