When: Fri., Sept. 15, 6 p.m. 2017
In Wyandotte’s idyllic downtown, something a little subversive is happening this Friday. Biddle Avenue’s River’s Edge Gallery will open a new exhibition featuring the work of two living and two deceased artists. The work of Dr. Arnold Dreifuss, Jeremy Hansen, Matt Lewis, and Jim Slack will explore themes of death and the afterlife, and some of the images are being described by gallery co-owner Patt Slacks as “challenging.” Each of the artists come from vastly different backgrounds, which means attendees will see varied depictions of supernatural beliefs. The show will remain open until Oct. 21.
The opening reception begins at 6 p.m.; 3024 Biddle Ave., Wyandotte; 734-246-9880; artattheedge.com; free admission.
