Cranbrook House Docent Training - Volunteers Needed!

When: Tuesdays, 6-8 p.m. Continues through April 28 2015

Become a docent at Cranbrook House, the oldest manor home in metro-Detroit, by attending our docent training program. Formerly the estate of Cranbrook founders (and newspaper moguls) George Gough Booth and Ellen Scripps Booth, Cranbrook House is now the centerpiece of the world renowned Cranbrook Educational Community, a National Historic Landmark. Our expert trained, volunteer docents lead tours of the first floor of Cranbrook House on Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, from June through October, and during other special events throughout the year. Tours typically last between an hour and an hour and a half.

Price: Free to attend; participants must become members of Cranbrook House and Gardens Auxiliary to complete training program.
