"Criticism: Taking Art Personally" Lecture with Holland Cotter, New York Times art critic

Holland Cotter has been a staff art critic at The New York Times since 1998 and is currently the co-chief art critic. His five-decade career includes stints as a contributing editor at Art in America, an editorial associate at ArtNews, and co-editor of New York Arts Journal. In 2009, Cotter won the Pulitzer Prize for Criticism “for his wide ranging reviews of art, from Manhattan to China, marked by acute observation, luminous writing and dramatic storytelling.” His lecture, entitled "Criticism: Taking Art Personally," will delve into his career as an art critic and cultural observer.
