Detroit Day

When: Fri., March 13, 7 p.m. 2015

A day also known as 313 Day in Detroit, Detroit Day began in 2013 as a way to celebrate the city’s amazing hip-hop artists. That first year, the event packed the Shelter (a venue steeped in Detroit music history, might we add) and this year the popular show had to be moved to the adjoining St. Andrew’s Hall with headliners DeJ Loaf and Oba Rowland. Rowland’s performance makes this year’s Detroit Day extra special considering he’ll be releasing his debut EP just days before the event.
