Detroit Duo Fest

When: Sat., Aug. 13, 7 p.m. 2016

Nine musical duos will gather at the first DDF in order to melt faces and blast eardrums. Each two-person act will play back-to-back on two stages, with half-hour sets and no breaks in-between. The fest’s creator is Parker Bengry, one half of the Messenger Birds, who of course will also play, alongside Kickstand Band, the Boy Wonders, the Messenger Birds, Tart, Yum, Rouge Satellites, Junglefowl, Boogie Knights, and the Sugar Bombs. Proceeds made from selling special event posters will assist with the ongoing water crisis in Flint.

Price: $10
