Diamond studs

Diamond’s are a girl’s best friend? Not so. Men who really want to look like a million bucks at the staff Christmas party had better pay the toll to Canada. Across the river and a few hundred kilometers from here, Harry Rosen Gentlemen’s Apparel, an outrageously upscale retail store in Toronto, is offering an extravagant new item: a $5,800 suit made with the dust of diamonds. Straight from Australia, the luxuriant fabric is sheared from a special sheep that actually sweats diamonds. Just kidding. The sheep’s wool is actually woven together with silk. During the spinning process, the material is sprinkled with real diamond dust. The resulting fabric offers a subtle sheen. You’ll be glowing — and not only from the spiked eggnog. Call Harry Rosen at 416-598-8885.
