Carleton Gholz is an archivist and historian committed to preserving the rich and diverse musical legacy of Detroit. A former Metro Times columnist, he moved to Pittsburgh for grad school and returned to found the Detroit Sound Conservancy, seeking to gather the stories from all corners of Detroit musical culture.
