Enough to Live On: The Arts of the WPA

The new film “Enough to Live On: The Arts of the WPA” celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Works Progress Administration - the WPA - the federal initiative that using art, theatre, writing, and music reignited the soul of an America caught in the grip of the Great Depression. “Enough to Live On” features more than 70 works of WPA art, including notable works by Rockwell Kent, Dorothea Lange, Stuart Davis, and Reginald Marsh, and brings viewers behind the scenes for an intimate look at the creation of Diego Rivera’s Detroit Industry murals. Director Michael Maglaras will introduce the film.
