Join us as we pay tribute to the soul of French New Wave, the immortal Agnès Varda, with a screening of her documentary, FACES PLACES (2017). Varda and photographer/muralist J.R. journey through rural France in a truck equipped as a portable photo booth and print lab, taking photographs of ordinary people around the country while forming an unlikely friendship. With her Best Documentary nomination for this film, Varda became the oldest person ever nominated for a competitive Oscar, at 89 years of age. aka VISAGES VILLAGES.
