Fashions Then & Now: A Vintage Fashion Show Luncheon

Enjoy an elegant luncheon at the Huron River Hunting and Fishing Club, and watch as live models dazzle you with glamorous gowns from bygone days, showcasing the elegance of the Victorians, the grandeur of the Edwardians, the frivolity of the flappers...all the way through the 1970s. Contemporary styles will be modeled alongside the vintage garments, and guest speaker Lynn Anderson (curator of the traveling exhibit “Fashion and the Automobile”) will provide tips on how to incorporate classic looks into a 21st-century wardrobe. Doors open at 11 am for boutique shopping. Lunch is served at noon. All seats must be reserved in advance. This event is a fundraiser for the Governor Warner Mansion local-history museum, and $21 ticket price is tax deductible.
