It’s the big 1-5-0 for Fred Warner, Farmington’s only resident to become governor of Michigan. Get ready to party like it’s 1865! Try Victorian games that Fred played as a child growing up in Farmington, and dance to live ragtime piano music by The Boogie Woogie Kid. Enjoy birthday cake, face paintings, balloon animals, and special birthday-themed activities…anyone for “pin the mustache on Fred”? Warner souvenirs will be available, including T-shirts, books, and limited-edition drink coasters. Plus, see a special exhibit featuring Fred’s early life, from his birth in England to his twist-of-fate adoption by one of Farmington’s leading families!
